Find Your Perfect Projector

Projectors have come a long way from the days when the biggest difference between models was weight. Today manufacturer offer models to meet the most exacting specs, including light technology, throw projection, and intended use.

InFocus, offers industry-leading quality for every application and budget. Models with FHD (1920×1080) resolution are fully compatible with many of today’s laptops, monitors, and large-format LCD panels, and wired or wireless connectivity displays content without scaling or image resizing. Our favorite InFocus model is the IN112x, which features 3,200 lumens, HDMI connectivity, and 10,000-hour lamp life – ideal for long meetings and business presentations.

For the typical business or classroom setting, the Epson PowerLite 1771W portable projector has solid data-image and video quality that can be easily moved to where it’s needed most. Small and lightweight, this model clocks in at just 1.68 KG yet still provides 3,000 lumens of brightness and several connectivity inputs for multimedia support.  VGA, HDMI, USB, and composite ports are rounded out with an optional Wi-Fi adapter for added versatility.

The ultimate do-it-all option is perhaps the Vivitek DW832, known for its widescreen aspect ratio and compatibility with many different devices. In addition to standard projection functions, this model can also convert 2D content into 3D using only its internal processor. Long lamp life, 5,000 lumens, and WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution round out a premium user experience.

Dell has pivoted toward DLP technology, which, relative to LCD technology, provides a brighter, sharper, and more vibrant picture. Well-suited for larger audiences, the Dell 1220 goes a step further by emitting just 34 decibels of sound in Eco-Mode, a whir so quiet that the audience hears the presentation and not the projector.

The right additions can make any presentation easier and more successful by eliminating the stress of equipment limitations. Still unsure what will work for you? Use this helpful tool powered by Projector People to narrow down the search, and let us know!
